    Hi,
I liked the concept so far, for mobile devices. But could it be possible to host the application on a web-server, just using html/css/javascript ?

I'd like to get laptop/desktop users to have access to the interfaces, through a web browser (hence running on mac/linux/win).

Is there something existing/planned for this ?

    Thanks,

    Luc

I'm trying to find a cross-platform solution for this... I thought maybe Chrome's Native Client would be the answer, but it won't allow OSC transmission. Maybe a Qt version???

I definitely would like to see this but haven't found a good solution yet. - Charlie

    Thanks for the reply.

Would 'websockets' from HTML5 help for that ? Or is there restrictions on where to/from the connections can be made ?

WebSockets don't support UDP. I have yet to see a OSC over WebSockets implementation that uses TCP instead... if you find or hear of one of these that would certainly be a big help and remove most of the stumbling blocks. - Charlie

maybe you find something of use in here: https://github.com/radarsat1/webmapper
I don't know if this sends OSc directly, or just interfaces with libmapper, though. :-/

Yeah it looks like you have to run some kind of python server to work with this... I'd like a solution that is browser-only (well, probably browser + plugin). libmapper is a really interesting project though.
