    Hi all,
I'm working in an Editor to create Interfaces for Control.

    Here is the URL: http://control.ezequielvera.com/

Is an Alpha version. I need to resolve a few Bugs and add more Widgets.

    - The app is simple, you just need to add a Widget (+ Button, + Slider, + Knob), drag and drop to change the position, change the color and more attributes, and press UPDATE (remember press UPDATE any time that you do a change in a widget).
    - When you finish with the interface, press SUBMIT, and you will see the URL.
    - Copy and Paste in Control (OSC + MIDI) Interfaces Menu.

Done, you have your new interface ;)

If you have any query or idea: contacto [_AT_] ezequielvera.com

Note: not all the attributes on the screen are working for the moment. I'm fixing a few and adding more.

Hi, I am using Android and tried this out. All I get when I add the interface is a menu button on the left side of the screen. Is it compatible with Android?

    Hi trevox,
yes, It is compatible with android.

You need to update each widget when you add a new one or when you change something.
For example, if you add a button, you need to press "update" (button setup) to save it.
Before to use the interface, you can check it doing a refresh in the browser or pressing the back button in the flash interface ;)

In the next version, I will try to do it more user friendly, updating the widgets automatically ;)

    Hi io,
I'm working on MultiButtons widget (maybe I will release tomorrow)
The setup is saved per Browser Session. (for the moment)
The idea is to have a user/pass to save/edit your templates (working on that too)

thank you.. for some reason I can't get the buttons in the interface to recognize the midi information I assign to them. Im sending the link generated by the app to my droid and am able to see the icons. I can also get OSCulator to recognize the signals for each component, but there is no midi information included with the message. Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

wow - what a great looking start for a graphic editor! i didn't even know there was a knob widget available. it seems to work OK for me. i would really like the ability to add transparency (rgba) to the controls and be able to stack (and order) objects, and maybe the ability to add custom code for my own widgets as well.

thanks a lot for doing this - one more step to smoothing out the user interface experience! would love to know how you programmed this, actually...

Very, very cool, Z! Great way even just to get your code started before hand coding other custom stuff.

If you're still working on this, a feature I'd like to see is the ability to enter the screen resolution of the device the interface is being built for. I'm writing interfaces for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is larger than the iPad layout.

    Hey Z,
great work. I have a problem though.
Control on my Ipad will not work with a URL I provide. It simply stalls: "submit" will not do anything, "back" gets me back to a s election of interface. Am I missing out on smth?
I finish the wanted layout(update) every step, submit it and thats it. If I were to open the url with a browser it gives me a looong code. Why doesnt my Ipad get it though?
    Thank you.

    Hi M,

So you're saying the that you enter the URL that Z's interface builder provides, and it simply doesn't load the interface?

Maybe you could past the interface up here for us to look at... - Charlie

    Thanks for the input, Charlie.
I will play around with an editor and see how it goes. Hopefully, if I start from scratch it might get my problem fixed. If not, I ll post the URL i m provided.
Thanks for the help. I will check back soon either way.
    Thank you.

    Hi Z,

I'm also working on Android devices and would like to be able to make various size templates. Is there any chance that the template size parameters can be made variable for other devices?

Also, as a workaround, can I create an Apple template and then just edit the parameters manually, in a text editor, to reduce or enlarge the page to fit my device (Kindle Fire and HTC-Glacier, currently)?

    Thank you!
